Prayer and Offering to God - Pooja

Arranging your Pooja room:

The place where you are keeping God's photo/art/Saligrama should be cleaned neatly.
We will have separate post for Saligrama Pooja.
In this post, I am writing how to do pooja with God's Photo.

Clean the pooja room daily and draw a small kolam in front of God.

Things should have:

Silver/Bronze/Brass Lamp
Cotton threads/Cotton wicks
Ghee/gingelly oil to light the lamp.T
Two Panchapatra and Utharani, filled with pure water and tulsi leaf.
Arathi Plate with Cotton Thread, filled with Ghee
Dhoop stick and Holder
A small plate

Arrange the above items in front of God, Along with the food you prepared.
Leave tulsi leaf on all the food items.

Light the lamp, Dhoop and Aarati.
Show the dhoop stick to God with lot of love.
Show the Aarati to God with lot of love and respect. Believe that God is in front of you, accepting your offers.
After Aarati, with Utharani, take little water and pour to the plate  thrice.
This is, you are washing hands, mouth of God and making Him to ready to taste your food.
Once again, take water from Panchapatra, using uthrani, split few drops of holy water to each and every food item. This shows you are serving your food to God, and He is consuming each and every item. Feel that He enjoys your food and nourish it.
Once done with serving food,
Again with Utharani, take little water and pour to the plate  thrice.
This is, you are washing hands, mouth of God after He finished your food.

I am using only 2 vessels, (supposed to me 5). With a thought of starting it optimal and increasing it future.
