Cooking

Cooking:

Ensure your kitchen area is tidy. Always take bath before you enter kitchen.
Be in Krishna's consciousness throughout the day especially while cooking.
The taste of your food, and the thought your perceive impact each others.
There are three gunas, Sathva, Thamas, and Rajo.
The thought we have, and the food consume are highly related to our Gunas.
Sathva Guna helps for Salvation(Moksham).  We are born here to get rid of Karmas and attain Moksham. And Our food helps for this.

Vessels:

In olden days, In temple, Golden pot, Silver pot and Mud pot are used for cooking.
Nowadays Mud pot are widely used in all temples and rarely golden pots.

At home, its good to use Bronze, and Mud pots.  Ever-silver , Aluminium, and non-sticks vessels are not advisable.  It harm to your body and to your mind.

As you are preparing food to God, and wish to offer Him and consume it back as Prasadam, You should not taste it. Believe me, the food you offer to God in this way, really brings a special taste. No matter, whether you are expert/mediocre  in cooking, this way of cooking enhance your lifestyle.
